Strong schools require responsible financial leadership. Bliss will advocate for thoughtful budgeting that prioritizes classrooms, protects the district’s long-term financial health, and ensures taxpayer dollars are used effectively to support students.
Meet Nathaniel Bliss
My name is Nathaniel Bliss, and I am a husband, father of three, small business owner, and proud Lakeville resident of 11 years. My wife, Angela, and I are raising our family in the community we are proud to call home. My faith and family are at the center of my life, and I believe strong schools, engaged families, and a strong community go hand in hand.
As the founder and owner of Bliss Homes, I understand the responsibility that comes with managing budgets, setting priorities, making difficult financial decisions, and planning for the future. I believe those same principles should guide our School Board: spend responsibly, focus resources where they have the greatest impact on students, and make decisions with the long-term financial health of our district in mind. I also enjoy giving back to our community by volunteering with youth at my church and serving as Treasurer of a nonprofit organization.
I am running for Lakeville Area School Board because I want every student to receive an excellent education and graduate prepared for what comes next. I will advocate for academic excellence, meaningful family engagement, fiscal responsibility, and stronger pathways to college, careers, and the skilled trades. I want Lakeville schools to remain a place where families are proud to send their children, teachers are supported in helping students succeed, and every student has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
